Charm City Reactors were a staple of the Baltimore alternative music scene in the first half of the 80s. Founders Sam Nitzberg, Alex Queral, Eli Sokal & Bill Beachler, along with subsequent members Doug Scrivener, Matt Douglass, Karin Hannah & Steve Raskin, played songs spanning an eclectic mix of genres including folk-rock, new wave, reggae, blues, and extended jams: New Rock & Reggae Roll Wave.
